Besides, the addition of the two other well-known players one of whom is the former Real Madrid star Guti and the other Quaresma who joined Besiktas at the beginning of the season really excites not only Turkish soccer media but also the world soccer media.

Now the authorities are looking forward to seeing the new possible SPOR TOTO SUPER LEAGUE winner as the recent additions are trying to do their bests.

TURKISH SUPER LEAGUE WEEK 19: RECAP

As I predicted in my recent article on 19th weekend preview , Trabzonspor could not handle the pressure and lost their match against Fenerbahce in Istanbul.

First place team Trabzonspor after saying good- bye to Turkish Cup, is feeling the pressure in the league too!

Fenerahce also ended Trabzonspor's 14-game unbeaten streak .....

First half's best team in The Turkish Super League Trabzonspor looked really bad in the last two league matches and in a cup match against Besiktas, which they lost!

Fenerbahce winning the match, help them self's and Bursaspor. in this race!

Starting 20th week in the Turkish Super League we will see a brand new race on top...

The Gap between Trabzonspor and Bursaspor is down to only two points!

With Fenerbahce is four points,,,,,,

Star studded Besiktas, after losing to Istanbul BuyukSehir Belediyespor, they missed a really good chance this past weekend to go up in the standings!

Galatasaray after losing to Bursaspor . are once again under dark clouds!

This has to be the worst year for Galatasaray team in their club history...

It is the 20th week in the league and they are in 10th place with only 26 points!

The title chase for them is over in my opinion...

The fight at the bottom of the league is getting hotter to...

Bucaspor after winning big at home this past weekend , they look like they want to move out of the danger zone!

So, at the end of the 19th weekend, Fenerbahce, Bursaspor ad Kayserispor wwere the winners and shakers in the league...

With Transfer deadline, Bursaspor got a good addition to their team in the last minute of the transfer day !

American National team player Jozy Altidore will play for Bursaspor until end of this season in Turkey.

With him and Kenny Miller along with Sercan Yildirim and Turgay Bahadir ,Bursaspor will have a scoring powers to chose from!

I believe Altidore could help a lot for Bursaspor, scoring goals,,,,,,

He is fast and very powerful,,,,,,

Most likely he will get a playing time this Friday, when Bursspor host Sivasspor at home in the 20th week opening match....

If Bursaspor wins this match on Friday they could capture the first place in Turkish Super League from Trabzonspor,at least until Sunday!

That's when TRabzonspor plays their match against Antalyaspor in Trabzon.

Last weekend's most ugly indecent was Amkaragucu manager Unit Ozat's disgrace act on the pitch!

He punched and kick the fan that ran in to the field..

How low can you get!

Results from 19th weekend.......

JOZY ALTIDORE IN BURSA, TURKEY

Photos by courtesy of Bursaspor.org

WHAT A DAY FOR BURSA AND BURSASPOR FANS AND FOR THE AMERICANS WHO FOLLOW ALTIDORE ON INTERNET AND TWITTER!

IT WAS LIKE, WHO WHERE AND WHEN......BREATH TAKEN!

FINALY, ALTIDORE AND HIS MANAGER, DECIDED, IN THE LAST MINUTE....

ALTIDORE WILL BE IN BURSA FOR SIX MONTH ......

Turkish Chanpions Bursaspor signed US national team player Altidore on a loan deal...

And He arrived in Bursa with privete jet on Tuesday....

On Wednesday , at 14:00 local Turkey time( 9:00 Am,ET) Bursaspor will have a signing ceromony in their Bursa stadium....

I bet you , Altidore will be shock!

There will be more than 20 thousand people at the stadium for this event.....

After the signing ceremony ,Altidore will practice with Bursaspor for the first time in Turkey!

Jozy Altidore is going through the medical check up today...

So, on Wendsday, Altidore will be welcome by green an white "crocodiles" Bursaspor fans, like he never seen before..

We like to warn him ahead.....

Bursaspor with Kenny Miller and Jozy Altiodre will be really good up front and they will score a lot of goals along with Turkish young player Sercan Yildirim.

Bursaspor is on second place currently and two points behind first place Trabzonspor.

At his arrival in Bursa, Altidore told reporters that he joined Turkish side as he wanted to play in Champions League this year.

"last year, Villareal could not make to the Champions League. And I want to compete in this league," he said.

Lastly, Altidore said this but his manager told me Altidore came to Bursa for only six month.

So, you figure ,If Bursaspor plays in the Champions league next season Altidore will be with Bursa if not he will say good bye to Bursa at the end of his contract..

Still , he is very good addition to Bursa and Turkish soccer(football) in general.....

More Americans will know about Bursaspor and Turkey after Freddy Adu news now!

And more American soccer fans will follow Turkish soccer too.

Anyway, According to his agent Freddy will play for Caykur Rizespor...

Rizespor plays in the Banka Asya League in Turkey and is in third place with a 9-5-4 record, two points behind Orduspor and Samsunspor.

KENNY MILLER SCORES HIS FIRST GOALS IN TURKEY AGAINST GALATASARAY

Kenny Miller scored his first goal in Turkey agaisnt Galatasaray as second-placed Bursaspor moved within two points of Super League leaders Trabzonspor on Saturday after beating Galatasaray at home with the score of 2-0.

Miller opened the scoring after 37 minutes and Gokcek Wederson scored the second goal.

Galatasaray's Ayhan Akman sent off the field, after 64 minutes and could find no way back.

Galatasaray young keeper Ufuk made two huge mistakes in this match!

Kenny Miller: The atmosphere was perfect...

Kenny Miller after the match said,"there was a perfect atmosphere, the first goals are always important. Vederson's goal was beautiful "

TURKISH SUPER LEAGUE: WEEK19,PREVIEW

Turkish "Spor Toto" Super league week 19th will start on Saturday with four matches...

Perhaps, "the match of the week" will take place on Sunday, In Istanbul when Fenerbahce host Turkey's top team, Trabzonspor.

But, wait that is not the only important match will effect, the top this weekend..

On Saturday, the second place team and last year's Champions Bursaspor will face Galatasaray at home in the last match on Saturday night!

Also on Saturday, Third place Kayserispor, will travel to Karabuk.

This match will be played in day light ....the starting time is 12:30 CET..

In the other early matches on Saturday, Sivasspor will be home against Antalayaspor and Bucaspor will host leagues last place team Kasimpasa in Izmir.

Sivasspor,Bucaspor and Kasimpasa are the last three teams from bottom..

Week 19th will be the turning point in the Turkish Super league this weekend....

From top the bottom, teams will fight for the points this weekend!

On Sunday,in the late match, everyone will watch this very important match between Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor!

The best team of the first half of the season Trabzonspor, did not start the second half good!

In the first match of the second half, at home they tied with Ankaragucu and just this past Thursday they were eliminated from Turkish Cup by Besiktas...

So they are in a slum, little bit!

A loss against Fenerbahce will only close the gap in the league ...

Trabzonspor still hold on to the first place...

But, They can't not afford to lose points...

On the other hand , Fenerbahce won their last match and they are playing at home...

The have the home advantage in this match...

Also on Sunday in the early matches, Besiktas take on Istanbul BB, at Ataturk Olympic Stadium Gaziantepspor play Genclerbirligi at home and Ankaragucu will host Manisaspor at home.

On Monday the 19th week will close with Eskisehir - Konyaspor match.

Lastly, whether Bursaspor win or lose points, that will put pressure on Sunday matches...

Not to forget, Kayserispor plays in early match before Bursaspor takes on the pitch.

Kayserispor winning in away match, against Karabuk will make them dead even 38 points with BUrsaspor!

That would put a lot of pressure to Bursaspor against Galatasaray too!

So, that is why this weekend culd be the turning point in the league in my opinion.

See you next time,,,,,
