SUNDAY RECAP ....

BESIKTAS STALL AND GALATASARAY MOVED -UP......
Bursaspor stoped Besiktas to a goalless draw in Turkcell Super League but Besiktas still climb to second place in the Turkcell Super League standings.

Despite high tension before the game, Both teams were aiming to stop the opposing team instead of attacking, so the game was as dull as a goalless draw can get.

GALATASARAY MOVES UP!.......
Galatasaray moved in to fith place after winning against Istanbul Buyuksehir.
Kewell and Lincolin scored for Galatasaray as they win the match 2-0.

In Sunday’s other games, Ankaragücü won 3-1 at Eskisehirspor, Sivasspor beat visiting Konyaspor 1-0, and two games ended in goalless draws; Kayserispor against Antalyaspor in Kayseri and Hacettepe, Gaziantepspor in the capital.

FENERBAHCE IS IN THE TOP FOUR FOR THE FIRST TIME!.......

That is correct, it took Fenerbahce, get to top four, 11 weeks!........

For now, until Sunday matches , Fenerbahce could enjoy the forth place in the Turkcell Super League for the first time this season, after beating high-flying Ankaraspor 2- 0.

If Sivasspor, Galatasaray and Kayserispor does not win on Sunday, Fenerbahce will close the week 11, on forth place. But, their chances are very slim !...................

All of those teams are playing at home on Sunday...

It is nice to see Fenerbahce back and strong again....

When Roberto Carlos plays good , Fenerbahce wins the matches, in my opinion..

That was the case on Saturday again!....

He score the first goal on 33th minute of the match and assist on Lugano's 55th minute goal.

Actually , Roberto Carlos took the shot, the ball hit both goal post and came out the feet of Lugano!..

All he had to do is kick the ball in!...

Ankaraspor needed to win this match to order to stay on second place but, If Besiktas wins in Bursa on Sunday , they could lose the spot to Besiktas .

Also on Saturday , Kocaelispor first time this season won a match . They beat young Denizlispor at home 3-2. but, Theye are still the last team in the league!.....

There are bunch of important matches in the league on Sunday..

Here is the matches that will be play on Sunday......

07:00 ET Eskisehirspor v Ankaragucu

07:00 ET Hacettepe Spor Kulubu v Gaziantepspor

07:00 ET Kayserispor v Antalyaspor

07:00 ET Sivasspor v Konyaspor

08:00 ET Bursaspor v Besiktas ....LIve on LIGTV

12:00 NOON,ET Galatasaray v Buyuksehir ......Live on LIGTV

WATCH FENERBAHCE 2- 0 ANKARASPOR GOALS ......

TRABZONSPOR WILL STAY ON TOP OF THE TURKISH SUPER LEAGUE

Trabzonspor won't give up the leagues top spot, just yet!..... They are red hot in the Turkcell Super League, under the coach Ersun Yanal, so far...... Trabzonspor beat Genclerbirligi in Ankara with the score of 1-0 , after hard fought match. Trabzonspor only goal came in in the 78th minute by Umut Bulut. Trabzonspor now have 26 points in 11 games, while nearest rivals Ankaraspor have 22 points.

That Ankaraspor, will play on Saturday, Against Fenerbahce in Istanbul.

Lastly, This is second time, we see Ersun yanal with a different team , on top of the league!.......

Last time ,when he was with Vestel Manissaspor, his team was in the first place too. But, after that, hell broke lose!.....

His team Vestel Manisspor, crashed and after serious of loses, he end up leaving the team, that year......

I just hope, that will not happen in Trabzon!.....

IS ANKARASPOR FOR REAL?.....

The team who has surprised everybody , Ankaraspor, is really for real?......
Everyone is asking this question lately....

Well, We will See them, on prime time on Saturday, live on LIGTV.

They will be tested against Fenerbahce, in Istanbul!....

The troubled Fenerbahce will be good test for Ankaraspor.
Fenerbahce after demolishing Galatasaray , will be looking for second win at home

Ankaraspor coached by Aykut Kocaman, who is a former Fenerbahce player, Ankaraspor won seven of its last eight games, dropping only two points with a draw.

Fenerbahce who has 17 points in the league , with a win, Fenerbahce could move up in the standings, that is why this match is very crucial for both teams!...

THIRD PLACE BESIKTAS TEAM FANS ARE NOT WELCOME IN BURSA!....

How absurd this is!...

Bursaspor team officials said , Besiktas fans who will come from Istanbul , will not be allowed in the stadium!...

I don't understand the hate beetween the fans and fan clubs!....

Again, when are the Turkish soccer fans are going to watch a soccer match shoulder to shoulder!...

When are we going to learn this is only a game!......

I am devastated by this nonsense action taken by Bursaspor team and others...

So, under these circumstances Besiktas will try to play a soccer match in Bursa against Bursaspor on Sunday!....

This Bursaspor, team just let go their former coach Samet Aybaba, because he was former Besiktas player and the absurd Bursaspor fan club members did not like him!..

Give me a brake!....

Along with this match there are bunch of matches on Sunday too...

So, we know one thing , before week 11, come to end on Sunday...

Trabzonspor will be top team in the league...

As far as the second and third spots that will be very hard to guest it now!...

Galatasaray will close the week 11, at home against Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyespor at home. Galatasaray has to win this match if they want to play for the top spot!..

A loss of points for Galatasaray , Fenerbahce, Sivaspor and Kayseripsor this week, will hurt their chase for the top spot!...

BESIKTAS BEAT TRABZONSPOR IN THE FORTIS CUP

Trabzonspor might be the Turkcell Super League leader but, they are not having a good luck in the Fortish Turkish Cup. In Group A, second week match , Besiktas beat Trabzonspor in Trabzon , with the score of 2-1.

Better side was Trabzon but, match discipline in the Trabzonspor team gave up and in the injury time, Besiktas found the golden goal by Zapotocny . Brazilian Bobo scored the Besiktas's first goal in the 33th minute . Trabzonspor tied the match by Egemen Korkmaz in the 55th minute.

Alack of discipline by Trabzonspor defense and the Keeper mistakes, cost the match for Trabzonspor. Besiktas leads the Group A, with 6 points and Trabzonspor has zero points after two matches. Trabzonspor pretty much damaged their chances to advance in the Fortis Cup.
Second place team Gaziantepspor will play lower division team Gaziantep Belediyespor on Wednesday.

Fortis Turkish cup will resume on Wednesday and Thursday in the other groups.

FORMER FENERBAHCE PLAYER ANELKA TAKES CHELSEA ON TOP

The Former Fenerbahce player Anelka, who had four goals in his last two Premier League games going into the match at Ewood Park, added his 10th and 11th notches of the season as Luis Felipe Scolari celebrated his 60th birthday in style.

In appalling conditions at Ewood Park, it was Blackburn who made the brighter start with Keith Andrews lifting a shot high over the bar in the first minute.

But the Blues were soon on the front foot and Andrews' poor back pass let Anelka in on goal. When the striker rounded Paul Robinson, a goal looked inevitable. However, Anelka lost his footing after skipping past the England goalkeeper, and despite appeals for a penalty, Chris Foy correctly waved play on.

Blackburn again had Robinson to thank when he expertly saved Anelka's header and then again from John Obi Mikel, before another fine save denied Frank Lampard's 25-yard effort.

But the Blues finally made the breakthrough five minutes before the interval in freakish circumstances when Alex's long-distance strike struck Anelka's thigh and trickled past the wrong-footed Robinson.

Rovers brought on Matt Derbyshire at the interval and the youngster gave Rovers attack added impetus, with Morten Gamst Pedersen trying his luck from range.

But Jason Roberts then spurned a gilt-edged chance to restore parity when Pedersen played the striker through on goal, with Petr Cech quickly scampering out of his goal to block his shot.

Rovers were made to pay for that miss on 68 minutes when Lampard poked the ball through to Anelka and he reacted quickly to dink the ball over the advancing Robinson to double the Blues' lead.

Chelsea had further chances to add to their lead with Lampard's free-kick crashing against the crossbar, and Anelka being denied a hat-trick by a fine block from Robinson.

But the three points put the Blues back on top of the pile while Blackburn - now six league games without a win - remain 14th, two points clear of the drop zone.
