This was the first official match for Guuss Hiddink as of Turkish National team coach.
Before the match Hiddink was the talk of the town in Turkey because of his player selection to the national team by Turkish media!
Even in the press conference before and after the match the subject was his selection of players not the match against Kazakhstan.
Well, although Kazakhstan was no opponent on the paper for Turkey , there was a scare from Turkish press, that the national team was going to lose the match!
Even though Turkish National team did not play that good they managed the win the match in Kazakhstan 0-3
Turkey scored two goals within three minutes...............
Arda Turan opened the scoring in the 24th minute with an easy tap-in and Hamit
Altintop doubled the lead in the 26th with a beautiful volley from a corner.
Nihat Kahveci added the third in the 75th after dribbling past goalkeeper Andrei Sidelnikov.
After the match Guuss Hiddink said "We wanted to make a good start so that we did it"
At the press conference he congratulate Hamit Altintop, scoring "World Class" goal..
He also said,"Intelligence and experience is an important element for winning this match"
Turkish National team will host Belgium on Tuesday in Istanbul .....
Hiddink said "We will take our opponents seriously,''Absolutely.
Belgian team has players that players in well known leagues in the Europe!
We expect a tough opponent next Tuesday, but the second match, we will reach our target of six points.''

According to The Daily Mail in England, Keane ,rejected Besiktas's last day offered!
According to the paper Besiktas had all the paperwork that would have been necessary for the forward to complete a move but Robbie Keane did not want to go Turkey.
Robbie Keane reportedly snubbed Besiktas when approached with an £8 million at the end of the transfer window.
