Turkey vs Korea Republic...Friendly Match In Turkey,Live...



Turkey's National Football Team will take on South Korea in a friendly game on Wednesday.
The game will take place at Avni Aker Stadium in Trabzon.

The match will start at 20:00 local time(13:00,ET)

The city of Trabzon is the city of former Turkish National team coach in 2002 world cup matches that played in S,Korea.

Senol Gunes also, coach in S.Korea professional soccer league, before taken over the Trabzonspor last year...

Senol Gunes, is one of the reason, why this match is being played at Trabzon, Turkey...


Current coach, Guus Hididnk also coached Republic of Korea, in the 2002 world cup tournament...

So, there is a lot to celebrate this friendly match in Trabzon, Today....

The friendship, between Turkey and Republic of Korea, started back in 2002, after the match between Turkey and Republic of Korea, when both team's players, greeted the fans in the stadium, as one bunch!

Now, that friendship, will be celebrate and honored once again in Trabzon ,Turkey...

Turkey last faced Republic of Korea in June 2004 when they played two friendly matches. Turkey had won the first game 1-0 before losing the second 2-1.
