Anticipated Aykut Kocaman named as Fenerbahce coach

Fenerbahce have ended German Christoph Daum's second spell as coach and replaced him with former Fenerbahce player Aykut Kocaman.

Kocaman, 45, played for the team between 1988-96 and was recently sporting director.

He will sign a contract on Tuesday. Fenerbahce will pay Daum €2.3 million in compensation after cancelling his contract.

"Fenerbahce have always been a part of my life and they will remain so," the 56-year-old Daum was quoted as saying. "I wish them all the best for their Uefa Champions League campaign."

That will begin in the third qualifying round at the end of July.

At the Inukshuk Foundation our goal is to fill in the gaps in community services and programs across Canada to help at risk youth complete their education.

Since reinstating our charity status in 2009 we've been hard at work to get our first initiative off the ground: creating Inukshuk Fields in Scarborough, Ontario. With your donations we can make our first project a solid success.
