According to Besiktas web site and other sources from Turkey ,Besiktas has appointed Portuguese Carlos Carvalhal as the interim coach of the football team until Tayfur Havutcu is released from jail.
Besiktas Coach Tayfur Havutcu was arrested in a match-fixing probe last month.
Besiktas team decided Tuesday that Havutcu would remain as head coach of the team.
On Besiktas team's web site ,the statement said,
"However, considering Havutcu will not be able to train the team, the board decided to give the job to assistant coach Mr. Carlos Carvalhal, who joined Besiktas during a training camp in Austria, until our coach Tayfur Havutcu is back in the team,"

EMRE BELOZOGLU RELEASED IN TURKISH MATCH FIXING SCANDAL
Fenerbahce and Turkish national team captain Emre Belozoglu has been released from police custody after he testified at Istanbul Police Department and in court as a suspect in the ongoing match fixing scandal In Turkey.
Emre Belozoglu was released after hourlong interrogations, after his testimony was completed. He talked the media after his release, ” i am exhausted and unhappy, i thank the police officials ”
Also, Ankaragucu player Kagan Soylemezgiller and former Besiktas manager and now days commentator at LIG TV, Sinan Engin were questioned and released..

Turkey Will Be in Group D ,in 2014 World Cup Qualifying Matches....
The Draw of 2014 FIFA World Cup , happened today in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil....
Turkish National team found them self with some though competition!
According to TFF's web site, Turkey's head coach Guus Hidink , assistan coach Oguz Cetin and nd Cuneyt Tanman, TFF Executive Member was at the draw...
After the draw results Guus Hiddink said “I’m very confident. Our team is in a renovation process, in a year will have more experience and we could be able to fight the Dutch for first place in the group.”
Turkish National team found them self in the Group D with Holland,Hungary, Romania, Estonia and Andorra.
The qualifying matches will be played between 7 September 2012 and 15 October 2013, the teams will be divided into eight groups of six teams and one of five.
The nine section winners progress straight to the finals in Brazil - to be held from 12 June to 13 July 2014 - and the eight best runners-up will play off for the remaining four berths over two legs from 15 to 19 November 2013, with the winners of those matches also competing in Brazil.

Nigerian forward Emmanuel Emenike is leaving Fenerbahce to join Spartak Moscow in Russia.
Earlier on Thursday, Fenerbahce said it was considering offers from foreign clubs for Emenike.
Emenike, 24, was questioned by Turkish police earlier this month in a Turkey's match-fixiing scandal but released without charge.
Emenike, who made his name in Turkey with Karabükspor, came to Fenerbahce for a huge transfer fee now, he is leaving Fenerbahce without even playing for them!
Emenike said, after all what he went through in Turkey, during the match-fixing scandal, is the main reason he is leaving Turkey and Fenerbahce..

TRABZONSPOR GOES DOWN IN PORTUGAL AGAINST BENFICA! 2-0
Benfica won 2-0 over Trabzonspor on Wednesday in the first game of the third qualifying round of UEFA's Champions League.
Benfica's first goal was scored in the 71st minute. On a ball that the Trabzonspor defense had difficulties to deviate, Spaniard Nolito received the ball in the box and scored.
The second goal came in the 88th minute. Argentinian Nico Gaitan received the ball over the box line and with an arched kick scored the second goal.
Benfica started the game with only one Portuguese national in the team. The other players were five Argentinians, three Brazilians, one Spaniard and one Paraguayan. Having invested 24 million euros in acquisitions in the last two months, Benfica had to prove that the new players brought better quality.
The Portuguese team attacked more, had more ball control but faced difficulties to enter the opponent's box, while Trabzonspor had only one goal opportunity in the whole match.

VERY TOUGH TEST FOR TRABZONSPOR IN PORTUGAL
Trabzonspor will take on SL Benfica of Portugal on Wendsday....
Turkish Super League runners-up Trabzonspor will play an away UEFA Champions League qualifying match with SL Benfica of Portugal on Wednesday.
The first leg of the Trabzonspor v SL Benfica UEFA Champions League third qualifying round will begin at 9:45 p.m. Turkish local time (2,45 PM,ET ) on July 27.
The second leg to be played in Istanbul’s Ataturk Olympic Stadium next week.
The losing sides will go onto the UEFA Europa League play-offs while the winners will compete for a place in the UEFA Champions League group stage.
If Trabzonspor goes through, this will be the first Champions League for them in their history!
Trabzonspor signed Didier Zokora from Sevilla, Adrian Mierzejewski from Warsaw ,Ondrej Celustka from Slavia Prague and Turkish international forward Halil Altıntop, former Galatasaray midfielder Barıs Ozbek.
But they lost a very good player Selcuk Inan to Galatasaray......
On the other hand Benfica is full of good players,,,,

TURKISH SUPER LEAGUE TO START IN SEPTEMBER....
THE NEW SEASON HAS BEEN POSTPONED BY TFF....
The Turkish Football Federation has announced the postponement of the start of the 2011/12 Super League campaign until September, due to an investigation into alleged match-fixing.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced that, owing to an investigation into alleged match-fixing, the start of the Super League and first division campaigns has been postponed until 9 and 10 September respectively.
It was originally planned that the Super League would start on 7 August, while the first division would begin on 14 August.
