HERE IS THE PLAY-OFF(SUPER FINAL) PICTURE IN TURKEY

After the end of the Super League regular season on Sunday,the Play-off ''Super Final'' Draw of Super League was made today in İstanbul. According to Super Final format, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams of the regular season, will face each other in ''Super Final Championship Group'' in a home&away match-basis group stage. At the end of this group matches; the winner of the group will be the champion of 2011-2012 Spor Toto Super League season and therefore; will directly participate 2012-2013 UEFA Champions League from group stage. Besides; the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th teams of 2011-2012 Spor Toto Super League regular season, will meet in the group called as ''Super Final Europa League Group'' in a home&away match-basis group stage also. At the end of this group matches; the winner of the group will face the 4th team of Super Final Championship Group to qualify to the UEFA Europa League for the next season in a single match on 20 May 2012. This match will be played in neutral venue and at the end; the third and the last team from Spor Toto Super League who will join to 2012-2013 UEFA Europa League, will be decided. At the end of the regular season, the participant teams points' of Super Final Championship Group and Super Final Europa League Group, was divided into 2 and all the teams will start their Super Final groups with their new points. LAST DANCE BEFORE THE PLAYOFFS IN TURKEY

It is the last dance before the first ever playoffs in Turkey! Turkish Super League's last weekend matches will take place on this coming weekend. Week 34, will open on Friday with Karabuk vs Besiktas match..... There will be five matches on Saturday and two matches on Sunday.. On Saturday and Sunday , there will be a lot of tight matches between teams who are trying to reach the playoffs! Here is a quick reminder how the play off sytem will take place in Turkey! The top four temas will play for Championship.... From 5th place to 8th place teams will play for the Europian Cup slot, that one is little tricky! The top four teams will play in a mini-league home and away.... Each teams will play six matches...... At the end of this weekend, top four teams points wil be diveded to half and the teams will start the play-off with those points.... First place finisher will be the the Champions of Turkey..... On the other hand, teams between 5th and 8th place, will play in same format and the first place finisher will face 4th place team from the top bracket for the Europa League.. The winner of that match will represent Turkey in the Europa league.... So, it is very confusing but, that is how this so called "SUPER FINAL' will be played in Turkey! This weekend ,Besiktas,Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce will try to win their matches so,they could try to close the gap with Galatasaray! The gap between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce is 9 points........ Between Trabzon and Besiktas is more.... So, if all the top teams win their matches on this weekend the gap will be prety much same.... 9 points with Fenerbahce, 19 points with Trabzonspor and 20 points with Besiktas.... This play-off will be between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.... Trabzonspor and Besiktas hardly have any chance winning the playoffs! The teams who are in between 5th and 8th place has to win their matches this weekend.... The teams like Buyuksehir and Gaziantep teams if they win their matches and any of those loses, they could get in there.... Here is the standings ...5th place Bursa and 6th place Genclerbirligi with 49 and 7th and 8th place teams, Sivasspor and 8th place Eskisehirspor is with 47 points..... Buyuksehir is on 9th with 47 and Gaziantepspor on with 45 points..... The other very important race will take place between Antalya and Samsun, who are trying to avoid relagation! If Antalyaspor tie or win, Samsunspor will be the third team, after Manisa and Ankaragucu will bite the dust! If Samsun win and Antalyaspor loses , Antalya will bite the dust....
