GALATASARAY SIGN 30 YEAR OLD NONDA!....
The 30-year-old, who spent last season on loan at English side Blackburn Rovers, signed a two-year contract and moves from Italian side AS Roma for an undisclosed fee. Nonda was linked with moves to several European clubs but Galaratasaray were the only team to have met Roma's financial demands. "We had to beat other tough competition to sign Nonda," Galatasaray general manager Adnan Sezgin told BBC Sport. "He is a good addition to our squad and we are confident he will make an impact here."

Besiktas and Fenerbahce hand and hand to Champions League!....
First it was Besiktas than Fenerbahce earned the ticket to go to to Champions League....
It was a good day and good night for Turkish soccer fans around the world .... I have boldly mention this last week's League review...Besiktas needed Delgado in Europe..which they did!...and he scored the both goals for Besiktas...I hope Ertugrul Saglam, will learn his lesson from this.... Because, let me say it again...Besiktas need Delgodo just like Fenerbahce needs Kezman in the Europe....
By the way, Ertugrul Saglam, is not the first Turkish coach to take Besiktas to Champions League....
How fast our Turkish soccer media forgot, Rasim Kara!..He is the first Turkish soccer coach to take Besiktas to Champions League... I can not understand how they write news before investigating the past.
Besitktas beat Zurich 2-0 and Fenerbahce won against Anderlecht in away match with same score ..Kezman scored the first goal and than in the 78th minute of the mach Alex scored the second goal.
Besiktas: Hakan, Serdar Kurtulus, Gokhan Zan, Ibrahim Toraman, Ibrahim Uzulmez, Serdar Ozkan, Cisse, Ricardinho, Tello, Delgado, Bobo
*************************************************************************************
Fenerbahce: Volkan, Onder, Lugano, Edu, Roberto Carlos, Deivid, Deniz, Aurelio, Tumer, Alex, Kezman

TURKEY TURKCELL SUPER LEAGUE REVIEW BY AHMET TURGUT
SUNDAY REVIEW:
WATCHING TURKISH SOCCER ON TV IS NO FUN!.....
I am going to be bold and talk about the times of the matches and Tv soccer programs and Lig TVs "Maraton" program.
it was 12 midnight in Turkey and 5:00 afternoon in New York when Galatasaray v Anakaragucu match ended... and Maraton program just started... if people want to watch other games highlights, they have to wait until 3 am in Turkey and 8:00pm at New york time...while fans in Turkey have sleepless Sunday night before Monday's work day ..it is very hard for people like me who is watching it here in United States.
Because, it is summer and most people like me,like to spend time out doors, during the day.... That's why,I only watched Galatasaray match and did not stay to watch those nonsense soccer TV programs goes for hours...I think that is absurd in my opinion!....I hope they fix this in hurry!..because this is real pain for the viewers!and they are not watching these programs!....
Back to Sunday matches,,,,,Gaatasaray jst like Fenerbahce and Besiktas scored one goal and captured the three points and the league's top place back from Besiktas.
The match was played behind Closed doors in Ali Samiyen Stadium and Lincoln scored the only goal in the 22th minute of the match and the match ended with this score too... If Ankaragucu had power forwards in this match, they would score against Galatasaray team.... Their attacker were really week!....
Another team who was punished by TFF 5 games behind Closed Doors Trabzonspor, won the match against Caykur Rizespor 5-1. TFF still did not announced the decision about Sivasspor match..... They did punish them with 5 games with no fans, but, Tff is late making their decision Sivasspor match .... According to Fifa rules Trabzonspor should lose that match although they were winning 1-0 and only thirty seconds left to play when referee of the match suspended the match.
We will wate for this late decision by TFF..
Elsewhere on Sunday,Kayserispor beat Kasimpasa...score 2-0.... In this match, the Kayserispor fans were Abdullah Gul's mask!.....This why, politics rule Turkish soccer..
In Denizli , Denizlispor beat their neighbor Vestel Manisaspor 3-2 . In Ankara. Ankaraspor drew with Konyaspor 1-1.
At the end of the third week, Galatasaray on top with perfect score and points (9points). Besiktas on second with same points..... Kayseispor on third with seven points and Trabzon,Istanbul B.B,Ankaragucu and Fenerbahce follows Keyserispor with 6 points. On the Bottom of the barrel,Kasimpasa an Caykur Rizespor yet to earn any points yet....
WOOD WORKS SAVES FENERBAHCE AND INJURY TIME LUCK FOR BESIKTAS!....
Although Roberto Carlos scored the Fenerbahce's only and his first ever TSL goal there were two shots came of of woodworks of Fenerbahce goal. if those were in the goal we could not talked about Fenerbahce's win and Roberto Carlos first goal. Let me say this , When the aces of Fenerbahce players on the pitch with Carlos , they do not run!....they seem to play more slower soccer.....this could be trouble for Fener in coming days!... any team takes advantage of Roberto Carlos side of field ,they will give Fenerbahce hard time. Carlos , in my opinion, slows the game down....he does not run ,,,when he goes up, he is late coming back !..Zico, has to watch this!...
As far as Besiktas, they were saved by 16 years old striker Batuhan Karadeniz, in the last second of the injury time in Gaziantep. Now, I am sure every soccer writer, who has a corner in the major news paper will take this kid, to sky-limit with their remarks!...that could be disaster for this kids future in my opinion!... Rookie coach Ertugrul Saglam, took Delgado out in the 63th minute and put Batuhan in the match....I know one thing, if Batuhan ,didn't score that goal for Besiktas , every body would be trashing Ertugrul Saglam for taken out Delgado from the match Today!..... I think ,Saglam escaped a fire again this week....... just like he did last week too!....How long this rabbit will jump!.... I don't know..I know one thing, Saglam has to play Delgado and give his confidence back!...he will need him in the Champions League matches, Because Batuhan Karadeniz will not save him in the CL......
Elswere on Saturday, Burasaspor won in a way in Ankara and they beat Genclerbirligi ...score Bursa 3- Gencler 1
In Istanbul, Istanbul Municipality team beat League's another newcomer Gencler Oftas 1-0.

Round three of the TURKISH Turkcell Super League
Galatasaray will be looking to continue its winning ways when it takes on Ankaragucu Sunday.
With the Turkish national side having gone around in a friendly international against Romania Thursday, the domestic competition takes Friday off, with four matches being played Saturday in the Super League.
First of this is the Fenerbahce versus Sivasspor game, being played early evening. After a shock loss first up, reigning champion Fener bounced back with a win last weekend. Even though some of its players had international duty mid week, the Yellow Canaries should be too strong for Sivas.
Saturday’s other matches see Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyespor take on fellow Super League newcomer OFTAS, Genclerbirligi meet Bursaspor and Gaziantepspor at home against Besiktas.
On Sunday, league leader Galatasaray has Ankaragucu on its dance card; Ankaraspor takes on Konyaspor; Denizlispor is visited by Manisaspor; Trabzonspor hosts fellow Black Sea side the winless and dead last Rizespor; and second placed Kayserispor has newly promoted Kasimpasa coming to visit.

WE COULD NOT BEAT ROMANIA IN 42 YEARS !..
Romanian national team beat Turkey 2-0 in the international friendly match in Bucharest on Wednesday.
This must be the trend now, changing the line up or hide the line-up from people among the coaches in Turkey. After Zico and Ertugrul Saglam National team coach Terim, confused a lot of people before the match. I think he confused his own organization too. One hour before the match on TFF web site announced different line-up .
The match:
Second-half goals from Nicolae Dica and Adrian Mutu gave Romania a 2-0 win over Turkey .
Striker Ciprian Marica's cross was converted from close range by Dica to put Romania ahead on 62 minutes.
Eight minutes later Mutu scored his 25th goal in 55 matches for Romania when he was set up by Dorinel Munteanu.
Turkey had enjoyed the better of the first half, Arda Turan going close when he struck the post in the fourth minute.
Stadium: Lia Manoliu

In the qualification round of Champion League's matches , Fenerbahce beat Anderlecht in Istanbul on the other hand Besiktas was winning in away math in Zurich until 90th minute but, bad luck of Europe struck Besiktas and Zurich team scored the goal in the 90th minute of the match. Alexandre Alphonse popped up the equalise the match.
Over all, this was still good score for Besiktas .Besiktas will have the away goal advantage in Istanbul... But, They have to win the match.Besiktas scored the goal in the very beginning of the match at the 3rd minute by Matias Emilio Delgado. This is what they have to do in the second leg match in Istanbul .....
Fenerbahce, in the front of their own fans, beat Anderlecht with only one goal .
The Brazilian master and team captain Alex De Souza scored the Fenerbahce's only goal
in the 32th minute of the match.
Fenerbahce must score goal or goals in the second leg match.
This win, could build the confidence for Fenerbahce, in the Turkcell Super League, after a bad start!.
Lastly, The Broadcaster of the both matches in Turkey, "D SMART" Digital platform, really smart!.... or they just think, the followers of Turkish Football(Soccer) are stupid?...

SHAME OF TURKISH SOCCER!...HOW DO YOU CALL THIS LEAGUE, "SUPER LEAGUE"
Is it Israeli,Egyptian clash on the field or STUPID THUG FANS AND PLAYERS?.....
The Turkcell Super League season started this weekend on a BAD and violent note when Sivasspor's Israeli striker Pini Balili was violently tackled by Trabzonspor's Egyptian defender Ayman Abdelaziz.
At the time Trabzonspor were up 1-0, on their home turf when Ayman tackled Balili. After the players push and showing, the thugs,(only few) Trabzonspor fans stormed the pitch kicking and punching the Sivasspor players. the referee ran to dressing room, from where he declared the game prematurely terminated.
Now Ladies and Gentelman, How do we call this League, Super League?...
What we withness last year ,it started, on week one again!...Who is going to stop this?....Lastly, In my opinion Ayman and Balili are both very hard nose players... but< they should leave the religion politics outside of Turkish soccer....This is Turkiye....

TURKEY TURKCELL SUPER LEAGUE REVIEW BY AHMET TURGUT
SATURDAY REVIEW :
In Istanbul, Istanbulk Municipality team beat League's another newcomer Gencler Oftas 1-0.
Before Sunday's match Besiktas captured the first place for now ,with 9 points.. On Sunday, the two teams with six points Galatasaray and Ankaragucu will clash in Istanbul in empty stadium... Also, Hakan Sukur, will try to brake Tanju Colak's most goal scored record!...

Arouna Kone has turned down an approach from Galatasaray.
PSV Eindhoven striker Arouna Kone has turned down an approach from Galatasaray.
Galatasaray, reportedly prepared to pay 20million euros for the Ivory Coast star - a sum which would have triggered a release clause in his contract.
However, the 23-year-old revealed he had no desire to move to Turkey.
"I do not choose for the money," Kone told the Brabants Dagblad newspaper.
"When I leave PSV, it will be for a spell at a top club."

Reuters:Fenerbahce move to Brazilian rhythm in title race
ISTANBUL, Aug 8 (Reuters) - Fenerbahce will launch their Turkish league campaign on Friday as favourites to retain the title with a team that is taking on a growing Brazilian flavour after the signing of Roberto Carlos.
Galatasaray have also turned to a Brazilian for inspiration among their summer signings in the form of playmaker Lincoln and are looking to the experience of veteran German coach Karl-Heinz Feldkamp to unseat their arch Istanbul rivals.
Fenerbahce earned a morale-boosting win on Sunday when they beat the other major title contenders Besiktas 2-1 in the Turkish Super Cup, which pitches the league champions against the cup winners.
"Winning a cup like this during our preparations at the start of the season increases our expectations and hopes about what we will achieve," said Fenerbahce's Brazilian coach Zico.
Fenerbahce will kick off the season on Friday when they play newly promoted Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyespor, the Istanbul municipality club, at the city's Olympic Stadium.
Of the other two realistic title contenders, Besiktas play at home against Konyaspor on Saturday and Galatasaray will host Rizespor on Sunday.
Fenerbahce won the league for the 17th time in May and were runaway leaders with 70 points ahead of Besiktas on 61 and Galatasaray on 56.
Former Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos will join his compatriots, including newly appointed captain Alex de Souza, forward Deivid de Souza and defender Edu Dracena, at Fenerbahce.
The squad also includes Wederson and Mehmet Aurelio, who have dual Brazilian and Turkish citizenship.
Forward Colin Kazim-Richards has also joined the club from Sheffield United.
EUROPEAN HOPES
Under new coach Ertugrul Saglam, Besiktas snapped up two Fenerbahce players over the summer -- experienced international goalkeeper Rustu Recber and midfielder Mehmet Yozgatli.
The club have also added to their midfield with Chilean international Rodrigo Tello from Portugal's Sporting and French player Edouard Cisse from Paris St Germain.
They will be looking to set their season off on the right foot on Wednesday when they play Moldova's Sheriff in the return leg of the Champions League second qualifying round.
Aside from Galatasaray's UEFA Cup triumph in 2000, Turkish clubs have failed to achieve major success in Europe, with Fenerbahce in particular having underperformed, a record they are determined to improve on this season.
Under Feldkamp, who previously coached the club in the 1992-93 season, Galatasaray has strengthened its midfield with the signing from FC Copenhagen of Swedish international Tobias Linderoth, who will link up with Brazilian Lincoln from Schalke.
The club has also turned to Germany to sign young Turkish-German duo Baris Ozbek and Serkan Calik from Rot-Weiss Essen, to inject some youth to a squad which still features veteran striker Hakan Sukur and midfielder Hasan Sas.

BESIKTAS SACK ALI GULTIKEN!
Ladies and Gentelman, as I predicted, Ali Gultiken is fired and Mogul Sinan Engin hired like mafia style!...
Where is the profesionalizm in Turkish soccer and Besiktas?..
this is Absurd!...Ali Gultiken , said"His job was taken from him and that was not fare".....Do you blame him for that!....He was robbed by mafia in my opinion...
I know one thing , there will be a lot of clash between Sinan Engin and the coach of the team Ertugrul Saglam....and this will hurt Besiktas in the long run!

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH BESIKTAS!.....
The Turkcell Super League will start in about ten days and we see big kaos in Turkish Super League again this year.
Besiktas, will bring back Sinan Engin as a General Manager!...
Besiktas president Mr.Demiroren, has spoken to Sinan Engin, and most likely deal is allready done.
WHY BESIKTAS NEED SINAN ENGIN?..
The troubles started in the club when Club's Football department head Celal Kolot, head a clash with Besiktas female board of member Guliz Arsel. After this,Demiroren asked him to resign!....
Sinan Engin, will damage this Besiktas if he starts working again with Besiktas team.
Young coach Ertugrul Saglam will not function with Sinan Engin...this is fact!..
Plus, I am just wondering what they are going to do with Ali Gultiken who still hold the General Manager job!...

DIATTA SIGNS WITH BESIKTAS TODAY...
RUSTU RECBER HURT!
According to Besiktas web site, Rustu Recber, was seen by club Doctor and his MR showed, he has injuried his right leg. Most likely, Rustu will not play against his former team Fenerbahce, in Turkey's Super Cup match in Germany.
This was my consern when Besiktas transfred him from Fenerbahce. If you look at his record since Barcelona days, he has been on the sidelined for long period!...
I still think he will not be consistant, playing in Besiktas goal this year.
Speaking of Keepers, I think, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray will have a trouble spill in their goal too.

Galatasaray approach Man Utd for Saha
Galatasaray have asked Manchester United to keep them informed of Louis Saha's situation.
The France international is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines and while Gala are keen to take him off United's hands, they want the forward to prove his fitness first.
The Turkish giants are desperate to make a splash in the summer market and are turning to Saha after failing in bids for Julio Baptista [Real Madrid] and Kevin Kuranyi [Schalke].
