Let's face it, sometimes what you wish or hope for does not happen on the pitch!
Before the match ,at the press conference on Tuesday,
Fenerbahce coach Ersun Yanal said, he was very hopeful about beating Arsenal !
Well, not only his wishes did not happen, his team played very poorly....
He was the engineer for that poor show on the pitch at Kadikoy!
Ersun Yanal made some big mistake just like when he made mistakes in Konya ...
Bringing Gokhan Gonul in to the match in the second half.....
Starting, Webo while many people were waiting Emenike to start ......
Against Arsenal, Fenerbahce's midfield did not play well at all .....
And , not building attacks from wings, gave the momentum to Arsenal in the second half of the match.
Arsenal with second half goals from Gibbs, Ramsey and Penalty kick goal by Giroud pretty much ended Fenerbahce's hope for second leg match in London!
Fenerbahce will need miracles to beat Arsenal and advance to the Champions League ...
Before the second leg match, Ersun Yanal's Fenerbahce will face,Yanal's former team Eskisehirspor
in the Turkish Super league match.....
Next ten days, could be very stressful for Ersun Yanal and Fenerbahce!

Fenerbahce coach Ersun Yanal hopelfull
Fenerbahce coach Ersun Yanal believes his side will win in Istanbul against Arsenal and go to London with comfortable score ...
“Arsenal are a high power team, so we will want to go there with an advantage,” Yanal said at a press conference.
“As a team we are strong enough to finish the challenge which is in front of us.
“We are competing to be in the first lane "
Fenerbahce , like Arsenal ,had a very bad start in the Turksih Super League.....
They have lost to newcomers of the league Konyaspor after going ahead 2-0 and losing at the end 3-2 !
Players like, Emenike ,Sow and Kuyt should be Fenerbahce's guns against Arsenal.....
The new transfer Bruno Alves is huge help on defense for Fenerbahce...
Only thing about him is, he is very aggressive and he is card prone player!
Fenerbahce and Yanal has to watch that....
Last time Arsenal visited Fenerbahce back in 2008-2009 and beat Fenerbahce 5-2 !
This is a second match for Ersun Yanal with Fenerbahce in the Champions League playoff ...
If Fenerbahce wants to win this match they have to play with match disipline....
They can't do like what they did in Konya on Saturday!
With 12th man in the stands at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium , Fenerbahce has to have flawless match!

Turkish National team coach Abdullah Avci said, he is leaving his duties at Turkish National team .

Avci was under a lot of pressure by Turkish media and football fans ....
Avci hired back in November of 2011 ...
During the two years, Abdullah Avci won 6 draw 4 and lost 8 matches in 18 matches !
Most likely Turkey would not make the 2014 World Cup Tournament in Brazil..
He came in to the job with big promises but could not deliver it!
His lack of experience with dealing with big name player and putting trust on German born young German Turk's was big factor!

Spor Toto Turkish Super League has started....
Matches went on from last Friday to Monday night in Turkey...
After starting with a boring and goalless match on Friday in Antalya between Antalya and Kayseri Erciyes , on Saturday, Sunday and Monday fans saw some good actions in the Turkish Super League!
While big guns like Fenerbahce and Trabzon losing , last year's champions Galatasaray and third place finisher Besiktas won their opening matches.....
Fenerbahce going up 2-0 in the early minutes in Konya then losing 3-2 was big and shocking news!
Fenerbahce was missing a lot of their starters because of injuries and suspensions...
Fenerbahce will face Arsenal on Wednesday in Istanbul.....
In the first week, there were eight winners .....
Gazinatepspor's Muhammet Demir's goal against Galatasaray was the goal of the week in my opinion.
Overall, the big guns who loss this week, Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor has new coaches...
Ersun Yanal and Mustafa Akcay....
Both made some huge mistakes but that is not the end of the world!
It is only week one, fans should give them them time to click ...
Besiktas coach, Bilic, has brought game discipline ...
That was huge problem with Besiktas last season!
Atiba Hutchinson is big transfer for Besiktas on defense...
With Tolga in goal for Besiktas defense look good for Besiktas, all they need is a good striker!

They are same as last season and better.....
Better Sneijder , and well fit Drogba ,Muslera and Selcuk Inan will be their biggest leaders this season.
Elswere , Eskisehir beat Bursa, Rizespor defeated Genclerbirligi , Karabuk won against Kasimpasa, Kayseri beat Sivas and Akhisar defeated Elazig !
With 3-1 win, Akhisar finished the first week on top of the Turkish Super Lig !
In week one, Karabuk's Lualua goal and Gazinatep's Muammet Demir's goal was something to see ..
Fenerbahce's Emenike missing goal was the biggest disappointment moment of the week 1 !

Turkish super league to kick-off on August 16
The new season in the Spor Toto Super League, will kick-off on August 16, with Antalyaspor v Kayseri Erciyesspor.
Two giants Besiktas and Trabzonspor are set to meet in Istanbul on August 18.
