Kewell: "Galatasaray Fans Are The Best"

Galatasaray's Australian player Harry Kewell spoke to FIFA>COM and talked about his new life in Turkey and Galatasaray fans and Glatasaray team in General.

In the Interview, he even said , there isn't much different between Turkcell Super League and Premier League in England.

As far as the question "What Do you think about Galatasaray fans" Kewell said,
"If anyone wants to say their fans are better (than Galatasaray's), I would bet money that they are not"

He went on to say,"The level of passion is like nothing I have ever experienced before. The support that we get is fantastic."

In this interview, Kewell talked about how he liked living Istanbul and Turkish people .

"Turkey is a very interesting place. If you had asked me two years ago would I be living in Istanbul, I would have said no. But I have to say it has grown on me. I think Istanbul is a fantastic city, probably one of the best cities I have been to and I'm not just saying that because I live there now. But the culture, the people... They are very respectful and have a way with the older people that you just don't see anymore. They have all the food, the nightlife, the clothes, everything that you would want - even the weather."

Besiktas Captures the Top Spot in Turkey!

What a Saturday it was!...

There were eight matches and they all started at same time....

First bad news came from Sivas..

Istanbul Buyuksehir scored two goals in seventeen minutes and Sivasspor fans were stunned! And Sivasspor lost the match 2-1 at the end of the ninety minutes.

This was the first loss for Sivasspor at home.....

The Saturday night fever felt in all the matches that played on Saturday.

It felt it more on the bottom and middle of the league's table!...

Besiktas, after getting the good news from Sivas, after 17 minutes, Besiktas started to push more an scored the first goal in the 29th minute by Holosko .

This was the third back to back third goal for Holosko!...

Than Besiktas, put on the gear and scored three more goals to finish the match with 1-4.

This was a clutch match for Besiktas and for Mustafa Denizli...

And they won it, with four goals and they did it, in away match!....

After the match Mustafa Denizli said, "Now we capture the top spot and we wont let go"

I think, Besiktas has better chance finishing the season on top, now!..

Sivasspor, lost two last matches and draw one in the last three matches..

This showed , Sivasspor ran out of the gas in the league, again....

FIFA.COM: "Thrilling climax in Turkey"

Thrilling climax in Turkey

Bulent Uygun is much in demand these days. The former Turkey international is currently the man in charge at Sivasspor, where his methods are producing remarkable results. The club from Sivas, a town of 300,000 in central Anatolia and something of a footballing backwater until recently, are top of the Super Lig with just four games to go.

A relative novice at just 37, Uygun is poised to lead his club to their first-ever domestic crown. Even in the oft-times hyperbolic and bloated world of football reporting, that would rate as sensational: Sivasspor, promoted to the top flight for the first time just four years ago, could become only the second Turkish champions from outside Istanbul. The only club to have broken the country's biggest city's stranglehold on the title so far is Trabzonspor, top dogs an impressive six times between 1976 and 1984.

Three steps to success for Sivasspor
The success achieved by Uygun and his men this term is firmly based on exceptional form at home. The leaders are unbeaten at their 15,000-seat Sivas 4 Eylul Stadi home ground. They also boast far and away the best defence in the league, with just 21 goals conceded. And at the opposite end of the park, Turkey international Mehmez Yildiz has been banging in the necessary goals, a total of 14 so far. The marksman is second only to Milan Baros of top Istanbul outfit Galatasaray in the goalscoring charts this season.

However, with the finishing line in sight, Sivasspor are showing signs of running out of steam. The leaders won neither of their last two away fixtures. Relegation-threatened Konyaspor held the high-fliers to a scoreless draw, and the men from Sivas slumped to a 2-1 defeat away to Gaziantepspor last weekend. A win is a must this Saturday when third-from bottom Istanbul BB come to visit.

Istanbul giants in the thick of it
Besiktas, the second of the big three from Istanbul, are ideally placed to capitalise on any Sivasspor slip-up. The men from the Bosporus are just a point off the leaders, although their confidence and pride took a dent last week in a painful 2-1 home defeat to Fenerbahce, the third of the powerful Istanbul triumvirate. Third-placed Trabzonspor are by no means out of it either, for despite a sobering 3-0 defeat away to Sivasspor two weeks ago, the former champions remain just four points off top spot.

The stage is well and truly set for a thrilling end to the season in Turkey, with the race very probably going down to the last day. Should that be the case, the fixture computer has come up with a truly mouth-watering combination of matches on 31 May: Trabzonspor entertain Fenerbahce, with Sivasspor away to Galatasaray. Could it be that Gala and Fener, out of the running this season in fourth and fifth, open the door for bitter local rivals Besiktas to snatch the title? Or are the men coached by the youthful Bulent Uygun destined to land a historic blow to the pride of the Istanbul big three?

DID GALATASARAY HIRE A NEW COACH?...

We all know care taker, Bulent Korkmaz's days numbered with Galatasaray team.

That is why Galatasaray team officials are busy looking around for coaches in Europe..

If this report is truth, they signed a deal with a former Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster who is from Germany.

According to Barcelona-based daily Sport, and Goal.com, He signed one year term with Galatasaray with the option of another season if he can ensure the club a place in European competition.

Schuster is expected to get around €2 million, a figure that will increase with bonuses if he can guide the team to the league title and qualification to the Champions League.

Holosko's Goal against Fenerbahce "Goal of the Week" In Europe

Besiktas' Filip Holosko (2nd R) fights for the ball with Fenerbahce's Brazilian defender Roberto Carlos (R) during their Turkish Super League soccer match at Inonu stadium in Istanbul May 3, 2009.(REUTERS)

Besiktas might lost the Derby match but, Holosko's only goal against Fenerbahce was picked by IMS web site(http://www.imscouting.com/) picked as "Goal Of The Week" in the Europe....

I have mentioned this last week he is seriously looked at by premier league team in England.

Holosko score two goal in the last two matches in The Turkcell Super League.

The 25 year old International player, has not been used correctly by Besiktas coach Mustafa Denizli.

In his first days when he took over the coaching duties , Denizli did not even start this great young prospect in Besiktas team....
And I was very critical of him, because of this!....

If Besiktas want to be Champions of Turkey, they have to believe in this young prospect. And they should build his confiedent in the last four matches in the league

Because, Besiktas need him to score goal.....

IMS Scouting web site is the of the sites that follows the young soccer players around world.

IMS web site has large number of coaches that are member to his site.

Most of the coaches and Turkish journalist who could read English are member of this site too...
