In the qualification round of Champion League's matches , Fenerbahce beat Anderlecht in Istanbul on the other hand Besiktas was winning in away math in Zurich until 90th minute but, bad luck of Europe struck Besiktas and Zurich team scored the goal in the 90th minute of the match. Alexandre Alphonse popped up the equalise the match.

Over all, this was still good score for Besiktas .Besiktas will have the away goal advantage in Istanbul... But, They have to win the match.Besiktas scored the goal in the very beginning of the match at the 3rd minute by Matias Emilio Delgado. This is what they have to do in the second leg match in Istanbul .....

Fenerbahce, in the front of their own fans, beat Anderlecht with only one goal .
The Brazilian master and team captain Alex De Souza scored the Fenerbahce's only goal
in the 32th minute of the match.
Fenerbahce must score goal or goals in the second leg match.

This win, could build the confidence for Fenerbahce, in the Turkcell Super League, after a bad start!.

Lastly, The Broadcaster of the both matches in Turkey, "D SMART" Digital platform, really smart!.... or they just think, the followers of Turkish Football(Soccer) are stupid?...

SHAME OF TURKISH SOCCER!...HOW DO YOU CALL THIS LEAGUE, "SUPER LEAGUE"

Is it Israeli,Egyptian clash on the field or STUPID THUG FANS AND PLAYERS?.....
The Turkcell Super League season started this weekend on a BAD and violent note when Sivasspor's Israeli striker Pini Balili was violently tackled by Trabzonspor's Egyptian defender Ayman Abdelaziz.

At the time Trabzonspor were up 1-0, on their home turf when Ayman tackled Balili. After the players push and showing, the thugs,(only few) Trabzonspor fans stormed the pitch kicking and punching the Sivasspor players. the referee ran to dressing room, from where he declared the game prematurely terminated.
Now Ladies and Gentelman, How do we call this League, Super League?...
What we withness last year ,it started, on week one again!...Who is going to stop this?....Lastly, In my opinion Ayman and Balili are both very hard nose players... but< they should leave the religion politics outside of Turkish soccer....This is Turkiye....

TURKEY TURKCELL SUPER LEAGUE REVIEW BY AHMET TURGUT

SATURDAY REVIEW :

WOOD WORKS SAVES FENERBAHCE AND INJURY TIME LUCK FOR BESIKTAS!....

Although Roberto Carlos scored the Fenerbahce's only and his first ever TSL goal there were two shots came of of woodworks of Fenerbahce goal. if those were in the goal we could not talked about Fenerbahce's win and Roberto Carlos first goal. Let me say this , When the aces of Fenerbahce players on the pitch with Carlos , they do not run!....they seem to play more slower soccer.....this could be trouble for Fener in coming days!... any team takes advantage of Roberto Carlos side of field ,they will give Fenerbahce hard time. Carlos , in my opinion, slows the game down....he does not run ,,,when he goes up, he is late coming back !..Zico, has to watch this!...

As far as Besiktas, they were saved by 16 years old striker Batuhan Karadeniz, in the last second of the injury time in Gaziantep. Now, I am sure every soccer writer, who has a corner in the major news paper will take this kid, to sky-limit with their remarks!...that could be disaster for this kids future in my opinion!... Rookie coach Ertugrul Saglam, took Delgado out in the 63th minute and put Batuhan in the match....I know one thing, if Batuhan ,didn't score that goal for Besiktas , every body would be trashing Ertugrul Saglam for taken out Delgado from the match Today!..... I think ,Saglam escaped a fire again this week....... just like he did last week too!....How long this rabbit will jump!.... I don't know..I know one thing, Saglam has to play Delgado and give his confidence back!...he will need him in the Champions League matches, Because Batuhan Karadeniz will not save him in the CL......

Elswere on Saturday, Burasaspor won in a way in Ankara and they beat Genclerbirligi ...score Bursa 3- Gencler 1

In Istanbul, Istanbulk Municipality team beat League's another newcomer Gencler Oftas 1-0.

Before Sunday's match Besiktas captured the first place for now ,with 9 points.. On Sunday, the two teams with six points Galatasaray and Ankaragucu will clash in Istanbul in empty stadium... Also, Hakan Sukur, will try to brake Tanju Colak's most goal scored record!...

PSV Eindhoven striker Arouna Kone has turned down an approach from Galatasaray.

Galatasaray, reportedly prepared to pay 20million euros for the Ivory Coast star - a sum which would have triggered a release clause in his contract.

Reuters:Fenerbahce move to Brazilian rhythm in title race

ISTANBUL, Aug 8 (Reuters) - Fenerbahce will launch their Turkish league campaign on Friday as favourites to retain the title with a team that is taking on a growing Brazilian flavour after the signing of Roberto Carlos.

Galatasaray have also turned to a Brazilian for inspiration among their summer signings in the form of playmaker Lincoln and are looking to the experience of veteran German coach Karl-Heinz Feldkamp to unseat their arch Istanbul rivals.

Fenerbahce earned a morale-boosting win on Sunday when they beat the other major title contenders Besiktas 2-1 in the Turkish Super Cup, which pitches the league champions against the cup winners.

"Winning a cup like this during our preparations at the start of the season increases our expectations and hopes about what we will achieve," said Fenerbahce's Brazilian coach Zico.

Fenerbahce will kick off the season on Friday when they play newly promoted Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyespor, the Istanbul municipality club, at the city's Olympic Stadium.

Of the other two realistic title contenders, Besiktas play at home against Konyaspor on Saturday and Galatasaray will host Rizespor on Sunday.

Fenerbahce won the league for the 17th time in May and were runaway leaders with 70 points ahead of Besiktas on 61 and Galatasaray on 56.

Former Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos will join his compatriots, including newly appointed captain Alex de Souza, forward Deivid de Souza and defender Edu Dracena, at Fenerbahce.

The squad also includes Wederson and Mehmet Aurelio, who have dual Brazilian and Turkish citizenship.

Forward Colin Kazim-Richards has also joined the club from Sheffield United.

EUROPEAN HOPES

Under new coach Ertugrul Saglam, Besiktas snapped up two Fenerbahce players over the summer -- experienced international goalkeeper Rustu Recber and midfielder Mehmet Yozgatli.

The club have also added to their midfield with Chilean international Rodrigo Tello from Portugal's Sporting and French player Edouard Cisse from Paris St Germain.

They will be looking to set their season off on the right foot on Wednesday when they play Moldova's Sheriff in the return leg of the Champions League second qualifying round.

Aside from Galatasaray's UEFA Cup triumph in 2000, Turkish clubs have failed to achieve major success in Europe, with Fenerbahce in particular having underperformed, a record they are determined to improve on this season.

Under Feldkamp, who previously coached the club in the 1992-93 season, Galatasaray has strengthened its midfield with the signing from FC Copenhagen of Swedish international Tobias Linderoth, who will link up with Brazilian Lincoln from Schalke.

The club has also turned to Germany to sign young Turkish-German duo Baris Ozbek and Serkan Calik from Rot-Weiss Essen, to inject some youth to a squad which still features veteran striker Hakan Sukur and midfielder Hasan Sas.
