LAST DANCE BEFORE THE PLAYOFFS IN TURKEY
It is the last dance before the first ever playoffs in Turkey!
Turkish Super League's last weekend matches will take place on this coming weekend.
Week 34, will open on Friday with Karabuk vs Besiktas match.....
There will be five matches on Saturday and two matches on Sunday..
On Saturday and Sunday , there will be a lot of tight matches between teams who are trying to reach the playoffs!
Here is a quick reminder how the play off sytem will take place in Turkey!
The top four temas will play for Championship....
From 5th place to 8th place teams will play for the Europian Cup slot, that one is little tricky!
The top four teams will play in a mini-league home and away....
Each teams will play six matches......
At the end of this weekend, top four teams points wil be diveded to half and the teams will start the play-off with those points....
First place finisher will be the the Champions of Turkey.....
On the other hand, teams between 5th and 8th place, will play in same format and the first place finisher will face
4th place team from the top bracket for the Europa League.. The winner of that match will represent Turkey in the Europa league....
So, it is very confusing but, that is how this so called "SUPER FINAL' will be played in Turkey!
This weekend ,Besiktas,Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce will try to win their matches so,they could try to close the gap with Galatasaray!
The gap between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce is 9 points........
Between Trabzon and Besiktas is more....
So, if all the top teams win their matches on this weekend the gap will be prety much same....
9 points with Fenerbahce, 19 points with Trabzonspor and 20 points with Besiktas....
This play-off will be between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce....
Trabzonspor and Besiktas hardly have any chance winning the playoffs!
The teams who are in between 5th and 8th place has to win their matches this weekend....
The teams like Buyuksehir and Gaziantep teams if they win their matches and any of those loses, they could get in there....
Here is the standings ...5th place Bursa and 6th place Genclerbirligi with 49 and 7th and 8th place teams, Sivasspor and 8th place Eskisehirspor is with 47 points.....
Buyuksehir is on 9th with 47 and Gaziantepspor on with 45 points.....
The other very important race will take place between Antalya and Samsun, who are trying to avoid relagation!
If Antalyaspor tie or win, Samsunspor will be the third team, after Manisa and Ankaragucu will bite the dust!
If Samsun win and Antalyaspor loses , Antalya will bite the dust....
So, there will be a lot of good actions this wekend in the Turkish Super League.....

The New Era Under Abdullah Avci Started With A Loss.
TURKISH NATIONAL TEAM NEW COACH ABDULLAH AVCI.....
The new era which started under Abdullah Avci, started with a loss at home...
Abdullah Avci, who said, he will be using wide range of pool players of close to 30 during this friendly matches...
That is what he did in his first match as a coach of Turkey!
He gave a signal ,that he wants to see young players on the pitch...
We could say rebuilding of Turkish National team has began with Abdullah Avci...
Can he do that?
That is very early to answer now...
Losing to Slovakia 1-2 at home in front of Bursa fans, defense and the keeper, Sinan Bolat was very bad on Slovakia's both goals....
Turkey's only goal came by "new comer" Omer Toprak who choose Turkey over Germany....
Slovakia's goal came by from Weiss and Stoch.....
It was a disappointing first game for Abdullah Avci, who took over in November from Guus Hiddink.
At the press conference Avci said, "five to six players played on the national team for the first time.
I wanted to see their good intentions, work and what they want to do on the pitch.
We have six more friendlies to play. We will work hard"

TURKISH FOOTBALL FEDERATION (TFF) ELECTS NEW BOSS
Former chairman of Besiktas team, business man and media tycoon in Turkey ,became the 41th president of Turkish Football Federation.....
There is a saying in Turkish, "41 kere masallah" " Forty first time, good luck "
Turkish Football and Mr.Demiroren needs that good luck, in my opinion...
Since July 3rd of this year, there has been a lot of water passed under the bridge but no solutions was found for chaos in the Turkish Football!
Even foreign news agencies like Reuters, after recent elections, wrote this, in their headings about Yildirim Demiroren, becoming the new head at TFF!
"Turkey elects head to weather match-fixing storm" (Retuers )
That is not this blogger heading....
That is the most powerful news organizations "Reuters", heading about Turkish Football!

DemirOren became the TFF’s 41st president after receiving 221 out of 253 votes.....

He said he will work very closely with everyone to make Turkish Football better again....
"My only aim is for us to come out of this chaos unscathed, without hurting anyone or upsetting any person or team"
Good Luck to him.....
If the decision on match fixing case don't come out before the end of the march , UEFA, will speak instead!
UEFA, already warned TFF to make decision an match -fixing case and UEFA said TFF is very late on deciding on the case....

Just 24 hours before, he said, he was going to stay as a boss of Turkish Football Federation, despite the pressure from media and some teams!
What happened in the past 24 hours ,that changed, Mehmet Ali Aydinlar's opinion?

CHAOS GOES ON WHILE TURKISH SUPER LEAGUE IS UNDER BIG SCRUTINY
There are all kinds of chaos almost every day ,on Turkish TV's and Turkish News Papers, about Turkish football match-fixing scandal while Turkish Super League is going on.....
Jam packed fixture in the Turkish Super League, is very disturbing too...
There are games almost every day, in the league......
During the last week, the Union of Turkish Clubs met and after the meeting, Antalyaspor president and Union of Clubs Vice President Hasan Akıncıoglu said "federation plans to propose an amendment to Article 58 that would mean a point reduction instead of relegation for match fixers."
After this announcement, Fenerbahce vice president Nihat Ozdemir came out and lashed out Hasan Akincioglu for telling the meeting notes to Media!
And he also said,Fenerbahce does not want to make any changes to Article 58 of the disciplinary code and wants the article as it currently is to be applied in the case of Fenerbahce, which is accused of involvement in match-fixing.
BIG DAY IN TURKISH FOOTBALL... JANUARY 26,2012.....
TFF(TURKISH FOOTBALL FEDERATION) ,will hold a special meeting in Ankara on January 26th,2012!
The subject will be, the penalty for clubs involved in match-fixing activity.
Over 300 members who belong to Turkish Football Parliament in Turkey, will decide the future of Turkish football!
While this is going on, Turkish Super League matches are playing but we don't know what they are playing for?
That is why during last week Galatasaray president Unal Aysal send warning letter to TFF saying they do not want the article 58 to changed and they don't want to see Turkey getting banned by UEFA and FIFA in the European competitions....
So, what we will see after January 26,in the Turkish Football.....
More chaos or bright beginning ?
WE will find out.....
I know one thing, during this meeting there will be a lot of clashes and harsh words in this meeting !
While these things happening, Turkish Super matches taken place, almost everyday!
There are matches almost every day until February 5th,2012.......
Week 22th will take a start on Tuesday and end on Wendsday and and on the weekend, week 23, matches will be played.....
They are playing, but no body knows what will happen tomorrow, while this chaos is going on,in Turkey!
Whether article 58, changes or remains same, the chaos will go on in the Turkish Football!
If they change the Article 58, there will be point reduction before the playoffs start...
That means, the teams involved in this scandal, will lose a lot of points that they have earned!
Looking to Turkish Super League standings, out of the first eight teams, there are only two teams are not mention in this match-fixing scandal!..
First place Galatasaray and fourth place Genclerbirligi........
Fenerbahce, Besiktas,Sivasspor,Trabzonspor,Eskisehirspor and Mersin Idman Yurdu are the teams will find them self, in point reduction, if they agree to change the article 58 on January,26th!
So, that is why, what we see is not real, now!
Turkish Super League teams are playing but they don't know what they are playing for !
With this chaos going on, it is not pleasure to write and watch Turkish football....
