Turkish football federation has delayed the decision on possible sanctions for Turkish clubs implicated in a match-fixing scandal until a prosecutor's indictment into the case.
Turkish Football Federation president Mehmet Ali Aydinlar said the confidentiality of the investigation and the federation's inability to access or disclose certain evidence for the delay in possible punishments.
Also, Aydinlar said,the names that was involved in this case who are in jail and or out, including Fenerbahce president Aziz Yildirim, would face a disciplinary board.

ARDA TURAN LEAVING GALATASARAY TO GO TO ATLETICO MADRID!
It was the talk of the Turkish sport scene all day on Tuesday on internet and on twitter, "Arda leaving Galatasaray!"
It all started with Galatasray CEO Unal Aysal,saying "Arda wants to leave Galatasaray" comment.
One thing was clear Arda Turan, was not happy in Turkey and Galatasaray..
That is why He wanted to leave Galatasar and Turkey!
Even Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim, old guard himself could not change Arda's decision.
So, with that the day started with a few rumors...
Arda might end up in the EPL with Liverpool!
Than the real news struck and Galatasaray announced that they made a deal with Spanish team Atlatico Madrid...
And the rest was history!
Galatasaray confirmed the 10.5m(euro) agreement with Atletico Madrid for Arda Turan.
Arda Turan will sign with Atlatico Madrid on August 16th,2011..

Hiddink names squad for Estonia friendly...
Turkish National Team coach Guus Hiddink has named a 23-man squad for a friendly against Estonia.
Turkey will host Estonia at Istanbul's Turk Telekom Arena on August 10, Turkish Football Federation said on Thursday.
Hiddink called 8 players from Galatasaray and 7 from Fenerbahce. The Dutchman selected only one player from Besiktas and one from Trabzonspor.

Match-fixing investigation leaped to Galatasaray in Turkey
Galatasaray's top officials has been assisting police with an inquiry into alleged match-fixing.
Galatasaray spokesman Sedat Dogan said Thursday that club official Bulent Tulun was helping police with their queries. His statement came after news reports said police were searching club premises.
Former Galatasaray president Adnan Polat will be question by the Turkish police according to reports from Turkey.
According to reports, prosecutors were also scrutinizing the 2005-06 season, which Galatasaray won following a 1-1 draw between Fenerbahce and Denizlispor in the last game. They did not cite a source for the report.
It's very important to know though, those days, pretty much every team was involved with "incentive pay"(tesvik primi ) to other teams....
After the new law passed in back in April of this year , this became against the law..

Besiktas names Portuguese Carlos Carvalhal as the interim coach
According to Besiktas web site and other sources from Turkey ,Besiktas has appointed Portuguese Carlos Carvalhal as the interim coach of the football team until Tayfur Havutcu is released from jail.
Besiktas Coach Tayfur Havutcu was arrested in a match-fixing probe last month.
Besiktas team decided Tuesday that Havutcu would remain as head coach of the team.
On Besiktas team's web site ,the statement said,
"However, considering Havutcu will not be able to train the team, the board decided to give the job to assistant coach Mr. Carlos Carvalhal, who joined Besiktas during a training camp in Austria, until our coach Tayfur Havutcu is back in the team,"

Fenerbahce and Turkish national team captain Emre Belozoglu has been released from police custody after he testified at Istanbul Police Department and in court as a suspect in the ongoing match fixing scandal In Turkey.
Emre Belozoglu was released after hourlong interrogations, after his testimony was completed. He talked the media after his release, ” i am exhausted and unhappy, i thank the police officials ”
Also, Ankaragucu player Kagan Soylemezgiller and former Besiktas manager and now days commentator at LIG TV, Sinan Engin were questioned and released..

Turkey Will Be in Group D ,in 2014 World Cup Qualifying Matches....
The Draw of 2014 FIFA World Cup , happened today in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil....
Turkish National team found them self with some though competition!
According to TFF's web site, Turkey's head coach Guus Hidink , assistan coach Oguz Cetin and nd Cuneyt Tanman, TFF Executive Member was at the draw...
After the draw results Guus Hiddink said “I’m very confident. Our team is in a renovation process, in a year will have more experience and we could be able to fight the Dutch for first place in the group.”
Turkish National team found them self in the Group D with Holland,Hungary, Romania, Estonia and Andorra.
The qualifying matches will be played between 7 September 2012 and 15 October 2013, the teams will be divided into eight groups of six teams and one of five.
The nine section winners progress straight to the finals in Brazil - to be held from 12 June to 13 July 2014 - and the eight best runners-up will play off for the remaining four berths over two legs from 15 to 19 November 2013, with the winners of those matches also competing in Brazil.
