Mamadou Niang Joins Fenerbahce...
Finally, Fenerbhace's wishes came to end and they got Mamadou Niang from Olympique de Marseille .
The real question is, is Turkish Striker Semih Senturk, will leave the team, now?
Earlier in the week , Semih Senturk said, He will leave the team if Fenerbahce transfers Niang!
Marseille team announced, on their official website, the departure of Senegalese striker Mamadou Niang to Fenerbahce.
The 30-year-old Niang has committed his future to Fenerbahce after an estimated transfer fee of €8m was agreed by both clubs.
Niang scored 100 goals in five season with Marseille team in the Franch League...
According to reports ,Niang agreed on a 4-year deal, earning €480,000 per month and is said to have been awarded a €1m signing on fee.

Saturday recap.....Besiktas win,Galatasaray lose!
Turkey's top league, Spor Toto Super league, started with four matches on Saturday and in those four matches there were only four goals scored.
In the early match Galatasaray started the match against Sivasspor good but finished bad!
On the other hand Besiktas the star studded black and white eagles, won in the away match with only one goal.
Besiktas's goal came in the beginning of the second half of the match by Bobo..
Former Real Madrid player Guti gave a beautiful pass to Bobo, as he got his first assist in the Turkish League.
He also received his first yellow card, in the match too........
Bucaspor were a man down for the last 14 minutes following a second yellow card for Ediz Bahtiyaroglu.
As I said , Galatasaray had a good start against Sivasspor in Sivas as Mustafa Sarp put Galatasaray ahead in the seventh minute, but Bruno Mbanangoye tied the match shortly before the break and Cihan Yilmaz scored the second and winning goal for Sivasspor.
Alos on Saturday, Eskisehirspor and Genclerbirligi played for nil nil draw and Gaziantepspor and Kasimpasa were also scorels in Gaziantep...
On Sunday there are three matches.... Fenerbahve will face Antalyaspor at home...
A little transfer note..... Fenerbahce signed Niang ...
Also on Sunday, Ankaragucu will face Trabzonspor and Karabukspor will be home against Manisaspor.
There will be two matches on Monday night too...

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!...Turkey's Top League takes a start this weekend.
Well, Turkish Football or Turkish soccer fans get ready for the marathon in the Turkish "SPOR TOTO" Super League new season which will take off on this coming Saturday..
Istanbul's big three will have a strong compition this year again from Anatolian teams in the league...
Last season's defending champions Bursaspor and Trabzonspor, looks like will be contenders for the top spot, this year.
Also, Gazinatepsor , Eskisehirspor and Kayserispor will make a strong standing in the league along with other teams in the league....
Besiktas is the king of the transfer season in Turkey....
Besiktas transfered Star players like Guti (from Real Madrid),Portuguese Quaresma (from Inter) and the world known coach Germain Schuster.
Also, Fenerbhace signed Miroslav Stoch (Chelsea), and Ankaragucu signed Stanislav Sestak (Bochum ) and Robert Vittek (Lille ).
Kayserispor also signed Jonathan Santana from Paraguay...

Turkey beats Romania 2-0 with Guus Hiddink!
Guus Hiddink made a winning debut as Turkey coach on Wednesday, leading his team to a 2-0 victory over Romania in an international friendly.
Emre Belozoglu scored from a penalty kick in the 82nd minute, and Arda Turan extended the lead four minutes later.
"We have to improve in certain aspects of the game, but the second goal was a beauty," Hiddink told Kanalturk television.

Well, we have to get use to this name from now on....

It is the state-run(Turkish Government) sports betting company....
Very nice......
Now, we have a betting company runs by the Government is going to sponsor the Turkey's top league!
People will bet more now since the name of the Turkish Super League is sponsored by Betting company called "SPOR -TOTO"
The betting company commercials were all over the radios and TV's and news papers now we will say their name every time when we talk about Turkish Super league...
But, I guess money talks.................
How absurd is that?
Spor Toto has been awarded naming rights for the Turkey’s top football leagues starting from the 2010-2011 season.
The deal will cost Spor Toto $125 million...
They will will acquire the naming rights for the Super League, League Two and League Three for the next five years.
Turkcell had been the main sponsor of the Super League for five years,

Turkey squad for Romania friendly!
Turkish national team's 23-man squad for the upcoming friendly match against Romania on 11 August 2010 has been announced today.
Turkey squad will start gathering in İstanbul Swissotel starting from 17.00 on 8 August Sunday. Turkey will make their first training session at Beşiktaş İnönü Stadium the following day on 19.00. First 30 minutes of the practice will be open to media.
Turkey Head Coach Guus Hiddink, will hold a press conference on 10 August Tuesday at 15.00 in Swissotel. Two players will accompany the Dutch coach in this activity. Turkey will finalize their preparations for the game with a training that will take place at Ali Sami Yen Stadium at 19.00. Media will be able to follow 30 minutes of the practice.
Turkey - Romania friendly will be played at Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saraçoğlu Stadium and kick-off time is set as 21.15. The game will be broadcasted live by "Kanaltürk".
Turkey - Romania match will be officiated by Milorad Mazic from Serbian Football Federation. Mazic's assistants will be Igor Radojcic and Nikola Tomicic, while Turkish referee Halis Özkahya will be the fourth official.
