9 players and 1 coach has been charged with match-fixing probe in Turkey.

According to reports from Turkey, Turkish prosecutor charged 9 players, 1 coach in soccer match-fixing probe.


Accortding to Anatolian News agency, 87 other people were also charged Wednesday with either membership of a criminal gang, violating betting rules or making threats. The accused were not identified.

The prosecutors says the group made US$30 million per year through the manipulation of matches, mostly in the second- and third-tier leagues, and illegal betting.
Anatolia says the prosecutors' indictment cites a phone-tapped conversation in which a goalkeeper for second-tier Gaziantepspor agrees to concede two goals in a game against Kayserispor.
No trial date has been set.

FENERBAHCE AFTER HUNTELAAR OF AC MILAN

According Italina La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fenerbahce ready offer €18 million for the Dutch striker Huntelaar.

Tottenham and Benfica have also both been linked with the 26-year-old, who struggled for playing timea at AC Milan , scoring seven goals in 21 appearances.

Huntelaar has already rejected a move to the Portuguese club, and is more likely to want a transfer to Tottenham than Turkey.

The striker, currently on World Cup duty in South Africa with Holland, has a contract with AC Milan until 2014.

Besiktas Signed German Roberto Hilbert




Besiktas of Turkey signed German Midfielder Roberto Hilbert has joined from VfB Stuttgart on a three-year contract.

Besiktas said on its website that Hilbert underwent the mandatory medical and then put pen to paper.

Hilber, 25, joined Besiktas, who last week appointed German Bernd Schuster as coach, on a free transfer. He has won eight caps but is not in Germany's World Cup squad.

Hilbert joined Bundesliga side Stuttgart in 2006. He made 120 appearances with German squad and scored 16 goals.


At the signing ceremonies Hilbert said,"I am very happy to be here and I want to do my best with Besiktas,"

TURKISH SUPER LEAGUE TRANSFER MARKET

As the training camp openings for Turkish Turkcell Super League team gets close , they are wheeling and dealing, to get new faces on their team.

Until now, the flash name stands out is Quaresma who came to Besiktas.

Besiktas also will sign German Roberto Hilbert from Stuttgart on Tuesady.

The Champs Bursaspor got a very strong Mexican midfielder by the name of Federico Insua.

Galatasaray and Fenerbahce hasn't made a noise just yet....

DAUM CRISES IN FENERBAHCE TEAM................

Fenerbahce starting the season with a lot of problem....

The Fenerbahce team does not want German coach Daum, but, Daum says he is not going anywhere until he is paid full amount on his contract.

On the other hand, absurd Turkish media(some)Radio and Print media pushing for Aykut Kocaman to be the coach of Fenerbahce...

They are on mission, to make Aykut Kocaman coach of Fenerbahce...

They went as far as saying on the airways last week Aykut Kocaman is for sure will coach Fenerbahce this season!

How stupid can you be....

Than, Daum came in said he is staying....

This week they are after Daum, saying he has no integrity !

Last ten days they lied to people on the airways of Turkey...

This week, they are tearing Daum, because he wants his money..

On the other hand,the sporting director of Fenerbahce and coach want to be Aykut Kocaman is not saying anything!

This is so absurd..........

This is also hurting Fenerbahce's image abroad too.

They should solve this issue quickly ....

Galatasaray has not made any move on big names in the transfer market yet too..

But, They signed the Turkish player Caglar Birinci from Denzilispor.

Elsewhere , Leagues new team Bucasspor will sign Landry Mulemo from belgium.

And Trabzonspor signed Baris Atas from Diyarbakirspor.

Also Manisaspor hired a new coach . He is Hakan Kutluay who coached Denizlispor who dropped of the league this past season.

The players names are Elis Bakaj(on the right) from Albania and Galin Ivanov(on the left) from Bulgaria...

They are both 22 years old and solid attacking midfielders...

According to their agent,Silvet Kopan,there two teams wants the players but,they do not want to pay the money that she and the players are asking.

Silvet Kopan, who represent Ellis Bakaj and Galin Ivanow, speaks very highly about her players.

She says, who ever gets these two players will be really happy....

Bursaspor signed Federico Insua

Argentine midfielder Federico Insua siged two year deal with Bursaspor on Thursday.

Turkish Champs Bursaspor strengthen their Champions League dream with a power house Federico Insua.


Insua said heis very happy to come to Bursa. "this interest made me very happy. I knew I was coming to a great club . This is my 4th country abroad. I will sweat for now green white jerseys."

"I do not know them yet, but my teammates are champions, I would like to congratulate them. I'm here with this title. I'll play in the Champions League with Bursasspor shirt. This is every footballer's dream."he said.

Federico Insua signend two year deal with 400.000 Euros upfront and 1.5 million Euros a year. The rest of his money will be paid by installments according to Bursaspor team.
