TURKEY 1 IVORY COAST I- DROGBA SCORES IN THE LAST MINUTE!

Turkish National team players and the team head coach Fatih Terim, forget the soccer match is full ninety minutes and it does not finish until that last whistle!..

Turkish National team scored early in the match by Gokhan Unal a powerful shot gave Turkey 1-0 lead...
but, wait, lack of match discipline by Turkish National Team gave a goal to Ivory Coast team....

A mistake by midfield and than defense, gave Drogba's goal to tie the match 1-1.

Over all it was up and down match for both teams...

For International friendly match it was a good fast pace match..

The city with out Turkcell Super League team, Izmir was hungry for a first class match, like this!.........

That is why Izmir Ataturk Stadium was filled with Izmir soccer fans on Wednesday night!..

That is not only reason why people filled the stadium though!...

The price of of the match tickets were much cheaper this time...

Anyway, Izmir football (soccer) fans enjoyed the match...

This was the last friendly match for Turkish National Team before the big match against Spain in March.

I am just wondering when ever we are going to see a stable Turkish National Team line-up?...

Lack of Consistency and team discipline will be big issue for Fatih Terim ,in my opinion.

TSL SUNDAY WRAP:

BESIKTAS AND FENERBAHCE FAIL TO CLOSE THE GAP!..
.
Besiktas and Fenerbahce failed to capitalize on Galatasaray Stalling!....

I have said it, before the Sunday matches....

Besiktas and Fenerbahce had a chance to catch up Galatasaray at least this weekend...

I also said, it was not going to be easy for both teams, though!....

That is exactly what happened!,,,,,,

Besiktas settled for only one point while Fenerbahce loss the match against Istanbul Buyuksehir !...

Besiktas was held to a goalless draw at the hands of Giray Bulak's Konyaspor . New signing Fabian Ernst, brought from Werder Bremen last week, played in this match too...

Fenerbahce could not beat nor score a goal, on ten man, Istanbul Buyuksehir Team.
Instead, Istanbul B.B. scored two goals on Fnerbahce!.......

The wind, cold weather and empty stands in the Ataturk Olympic stadium wa a hole in the ground for Fenerbahce team!....
They had no desire nor the power the win this match.....

A golden opurtunity again was waisted for Fenerbahce....

While Sivaspor and Trabzonspor going full speed, the big three's of Istanbul are sliping!...

In th other matches on Sunday, Antalyaspor beat Denizlispor 2-1, Gaziantepspor beat Ankaraspor at home with two goals, and Bursaspor won in away match against Genclerbirligi in Ankara 2-1.

Sivasspor retakes the top spot from Trabzonspor!...

Sivasspor moved back into shared first place after beating Kocaelispor 2-0 on Saturday.

Sivasspor new goal scorer Frenchman Yanick Kamanan score the first goal in the 17th minute and Israeli Pini Balili netted the second goal for Sivasspor.

On Friday, Trabzonspor was saved by the bell!...

They scored the winning goal in the last seconds of the macth against Ankaragucu. They won the match 2-1

Galatasaray held by referee and Kayserispor!....

Galatasaray dropped two important points in a 1-1 draw with Kayserispor. Nonda did put Galatasaray ahead on 27 minutes but Kayserispor's Mehmet Eren scored a dramatic and last-minute goal to make it 1-1.

Galatasarau Keeper made a huge mistake on this goal...

Also, the referee of the match was just awful in this match...

I think, referee Selcuk Dereli, should quit reffing...

He is just bad!......

He send Lincoln off with a second yellow card in the 29th minute!...

BESIKTAS AND FENERBAHCE HAS A CHANCE TO CATCH GALATASAY ON SUNDAY!.....

The race for the top is getting heated up!...

While Sivaspor and Trabzonspor shares the league's top

spot with 41 points after Galatasaray claps in Istanbul,

thanks to the referee of the match, this race could heat-

up more if Besiktas and Fenerbahce wins their match on

Sunday they could catch Galatasaray and share the third

place spot with 37 points.

So, we could see three teams tied up for third place at

the end of this weekend.

But, it will not be easy though....

Because, in the early match that will be broadcast live on

LIGTV, Besiktas will be in Konya.....

They are desprate for points to get out of the danger

zone and they are playing at home. it will be hard for

Besiktas to win this match , in my opinion!...

On the other hand, Fenerbahce also will play a team who

has been struggling.....

Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediye, also is in hot seat of the

League!....if they don't get point or points out of this

match, it will be disaster for them!...

So, this are the two games that will be broadcast live by

LIGTV on Sunday, but, there are three other matches on

Sunday during the day time!...

So, enjoy your Turkish Soccer on Sunday......

MESUT OZIL WILL PLAY FOR GERMANY!...

Germany coach Joachim Low has awarded first international call-ups to Mesut Ozil and 21-man squad to face Norway in a friendly next Wednesday.

Ozil has recently committed himself to the Germany national team despite advances from Turkey, who he would also be eligible to represent.

Should he earn his first cap next Wednesday, he would officially only be able to represent Germany in future and Low is ready to hand him that after a chat last Friday.

"The Turkish Football Association have been trying hard to get him recently and we decided to sit back for a while until he decided whether he wanted to play for the Germany national team," said Low. "In a telephone conversation last Friday, he told me that he wants to play for our team in future.

"That made it only obvious that we would nominate him in the squad for the Norway game."

Werder Bremen midfielder Ozil was born in Germany and is the third generation of a Turkish family that settled in the country.

He said it had been difficult "because my family and many of my friends come from Turkey," but he feels he has "made the right decision".

He added: "This is not a decision against my Turkish roots. I am delighted to be called up and will look to take my chance with the Germany national team."
