First, on Friday, Sivasspor after away draw, in Manisa with Manisspor(1-1) took the top spot for only for one day, until Galatasaray beating Ankaraspor in Ankara on Saturday. But, on Sunday,Besiktas reclaim the top spot back again....

At the end of the week 26, Besiktas has 58 points, second place Galatasaray has 57 points and third place team Fenerbahce also has 57 points. Fourth Place team Sivasspor fell behind a Little after a draw this weekend and they have 55 points.

That is what is going on on top.....Last eight weeks in the league will bring a lot of interesting matches....

The race will not only be on top , we will see a tight race in the bottom too....

The team, every one thought they were already eliminated , Kasimpasaspor, has been on the move....They beat Istanbul B.B, spor at home this weekend....
Don't count them out yet!....

On the other hand , Manissaspor , Caykur Rizespor and Ankaraspor teams are in big trouble!...

In their last six matches, Manisaspor and Caykur Rizepor only three and Ankaraspor only earned four points in the league..

We could add Genclerbirligi,Konyaspor, Genclerbirligi Oftas and Konyaspor to this list ....if they don't shape up in the future.....

So,the race is getting hotter on top and the bottom....

Here is the report from Sunday matches......

Besiktas maintained their one-point lead at the top of the table with a huge 3-0 win against Trabzonspor at the BJK Inonu Stadium.

It took Besiktas just five minutes to get off the mark through striker Mert Nobre.

Matias Delgado added another on the stroke of half-time and despite being reduced to 10 men following Ibrahim Toraman's dismissal, they recovered to score a third through substitute Aydin Karabulut.

Fenerbahce added to their good form in the UEFA Champions League with a 4-1 win at Konyspor.
Fener recovered after trailing to Ceyhun Eris's goal, with Semih Senturk and Mateja Kezman both bagging a brace to keep them one point off the leaders and level on points with Galatasaray.

Bottom club Kasimpasa fought to a 1-0 win against fellow strugglers Istanbul Buyuksehir BSK. An early goal from Joseph Mawaye proved to be enough, although a win still leaves them five points from safety.

Sixth-placed Denizlispor nudged past Gaziantepspor with a narrow 2-1 win. They led through a Selahattin Kinali goal in the seventh minute, before Beto equalised. Serhat Gulpinar scored the winner in the second half.

EURO 2008 coaches gather in Vianna

The head coaches of the 16 nations who will compete at UEFA EURO 2008™ are expected to attend the finalists' workshop in Vienna on Wednesday and Thursday, in preparation for June's final tournament in Austria and Switzerland. Some 130 guests are expected in the Austrian capital, with each delegation potentially sending up to eight members including the president, general secretary, head coach, ticketing officer, manager and team doctor.

Wednesday will feature general presentations, with group meetings about specific topics scheduled for the following day. The most important topics being addressed are tournament guidelines, services and facilities available to the participating teams, organisational activities of UEFA and Euro 2008 SA, accommodation, transport, accreditation, pitches, match operations, medical services, TV and media issues and anti-doping.

All 16 associations will sign an Anti-Doping Charter in a ceremony at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion – the venue for the final on 29 June. The charter pledges that the anti-doping campaign will be given full backing by all of the countries taking part. Other events heralding the EURO tournament will take place at the workshop, with details to be unveiled during the course of the two days in Vienna. Eight venues – Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Salzburg and Vienna (Austria) and Basel, Berne, Geneva and Zurich (Switzerland) – are staging UEFA EURO 2008™ between 7 and 29 June.
