Round three of the TURKISH Turkcell Super League

Galatasaray will be looking to continue its winning ways when it takes on Ankaragucu Sunday.

With the Turkish national side having gone around in a friendly international against Romania Thursday, the domestic competition takes Friday off, with four matches being played Saturday in the Super League.

First of this is the Fenerbahce versus Sivasspor game, being played early evening. After a shock loss first up, reigning champion Fener bounced back with a win last weekend. Even though some of its players had international duty mid week, the Yellow Canaries should be too strong for Sivas.

Saturday’s other matches see Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyespor take on fellow Super League newcomer OFTAS, Genclerbirligi meet Bursaspor and Gaziantepspor at home against Besiktas.

On Sunday, league leader Galatasaray has Ankaragucu on its dance card; Ankaraspor takes on Konyaspor; Denizlispor is visited by Manisaspor; Trabzonspor hosts fellow Black Sea side the winless and dead last Rizespor; and second placed Kayserispor has newly promoted Kasimpasa coming to visit.

WE COULD NOT BEAT ROMANIA IN 42 YEARS !..

Romanian national team beat Turkey 2-0 in the international friendly match in Bucharest on Wednesday.

This must be the trend now, changing the line up or hide the line-up from people among the coaches in Turkey. Second-half goals from Nicolae Dica and Adrian Mutu gave Romania a 2-0 win over Turkey .

Striker Ciprian Marica's cross was converted from close range by Dica to put Romania ahead on 62 minutes.
