Tuncay Sanli has completed his move to Middlesbrough after being granted a work permit.
Tuncay joins on a free transfer from Fenerbahce and is expected to join up with his team-mates in time to fly out on the club's pre-season trip to Austria next week. The news is a further boost for Boro boss Gareth Southgate, who is confident he has significantly strengthened his squad during the summer. Boro unveiled former Arsenal striker Jeremie Aliadiere on Tuesday and with Tuncay also on board as well former Real Madrid defender Jonathan Woodgate making his loan deal permanent, Southgate is delighted with the business he has done so far.

Because of Tuncay Turkish fans flock to Middlesbrough's website
Soccer fans in Istanbul were responsible for more hits on Middlesbrough's website in June than any others, overtaking those from the northeast England club's own town.
Boro signed Turkey forward Tuncay Sanli last week on a free transfer after his contract with Istanbul-based Turkish champion Fenerbahce expired.
With two days of June remaining, 12.8 per cent of all visitors to Middlesbrough's Web site www.mfc.premiumtv.co.uk this month came from Istanbul. Middlesbrough was second on the list with 8.8 per cent, with London third on 7.1 and Turkish capital Ankara fourth on 4.8.
When Boro announced it had agreed to contract terms with the 25-year-old Tuncay on June 13, 58.6 per cent of the site's visitors came from Turkey.
