FENERBAHCE MOVES TO SIXTH PLACE IN TURKEY

Fenerbahce got out of the blues and they won a thrilling match 6-2 at Kasimpasa with Senegalese forward Mamadou Niang firing a hat-trick. The win took Fenerbahce to sixth place after six games, above Karabukspor on goal difference with 10 points.

Kasimpasa took the lead after five minutes through Sahin Aygunes but a 16th-minute Alex penalty drew Fener level. Emre Belozoglu put them in front after 20 minutes and Niang netted his first in the 23rd.

Kasimpasa ensured a half-time scoreline of 3-2 as Ersen Martin pulled one back two minutes later, but Fenerbahce pulled clear in the second half.

Former Marseille striker Niang scored his second and Fener's fourth in the 64th minute before Alex grabbed his second and Niang wrapped up his hat-trick in the final moments.
