Besiktas with a good start to the season with five wins and a draw in six games during the preliminary round of the Europa League, and three victories in four games in the Spor Toto Super League.

Besiktas's main injury concern is winger Ricardo Quaresma, who scored three goals in qualifying, with Schuster to decide whether to rest the tricky Portuguese ahead of the derby match against Fenerbahce.

Besiktas is the favorite to open their campaign with victory against the Bulgarians, who have struggled so far this season in their domestic league.
