BURSASPOR CHAMPIONS OF TURKEY

First time of their history Bursaspor won the Turkey's top league Turkcell Super League TITLE in the 2009-2010 season,


As I predicted about five weeks ago,the race went down to the wire....

Everything was suppose to go Fenerbahce's way....


Because, the=y were on top of Bursaspor going into last match of the season...

Fenerbahce scored the goal first against Trabzonspor while Bursaspor was still scoreless against Besiktas in Bursa....

Fenerbahce scored and their fans started a little bit early....

Than,The team who knock Fenerbahce in the Turkish Cup Finals, Trabzonspor shocked the Fenerbahce fans with a goal....

On the other hand Bursaspor was a head of Besiktas. with two goals...

As the time approached the last minute of the match , Besiktas scored goal and made it 2-1.

That gave a little hope for Fenerbahce fans in the Sukru Saracoglu stadium...

But, Fenerbahce players just could not get the second goal.....

Guzia and Alex missed very god chances for Fenerbahce...

SCANDAL IN THE KADIKOY FENERBAHCE STADIUM....

While the match was in the last minute of the match, The stadium announcer made a absurd announcement saying Bursaspor Besiktas match score was 2-2 draw....

Fenerbahce fans started to celebrate while there was still minute left in the match.and started to ran on the field while Bursaspor match was over...

In Bursa, The match finished and they were waiting eagerly the good news from Fenerbahce stadium.

What is so bad,is the broadcaster, LIG TV play by play announcers fell for this trap and gave a wrong information to the viewers..............

Soon after the fabs started to run on to pitch , the game was over....

And, the celebration in Kadikoy, turn in to sour grape, while the real champions of Turkey, Bursaspor and fans started the celabration will take place 40 days and 40 nights...

This was the second time other than big three Istanbul Teams won the league's title..

Trabzonspor was the first Anatolian team won the leagues title out side of Istanbul teams...

That Trabzonspor, who is coached by former Turkish National team coach Senol Gunes,stoped Fenerbahce in the league, after beating them in the Turkish Cup...

Trabzonspor also helped Bursaspor by at least holding Fenerbahce to 1-1 score in the last latch.....


Lastly, I am sure a lot of the soccer fans, outside of Turkey , probably asking, where this Bursa, came from all of sudden?

Well, first, they have made a good choice buy hiring young Turkish coach, who knows the Turkish football players....

Second, fans ,coach and the team, was on the same page.......

Ertugrul Saglam, was big factor in this Championship ....

Kudos to Ertugrul Saglam and Bursaspor...

Well deserved run....you guys deserve it..

Now, it is time to think big, for Champions League!

Don't be like Sivaspor!
